Whangarei District Council partnered with BDX Civil to deliver a showpiece community asset in the centre of the city. This example of work is civil construction at its very best. A technical bridge build involving timber piling, reinforced concrete bridge abutments, an elevated FRP board walk with a polished stainless steel balustrade. Just to keep things interesting, the entire bridge is formed on a curved radius. To add the finishing touches, over 2500 native trees and plants were established along with exposed aggregate concrete footpaths. A civil construction masterpiece!
